The new special edition model joins the reimagined Series 8 collection of mechanical watches – pairing an elevated style with high-performance automatic movements to fit every occasion. Balancing the worlds of robust wear and refined styling, the new 890 features a 42.6mm octagonal stainless steel case alongside the best of Citizen's finishing techniques. With its integrated, tapering steel bracelet and double set of crowns, the watch is ready for wear in any instance. Underneath a sapphire crystal, a textured dial inspired by sakura flower, or Japanese cherry blossoms, draws your attention. A bi-directional rotating inner dive bezel adds contrast and practicality alongside other dark details, with the whole highly-legible dial playing wonderfully in the light. A 3 o'clock date window adds even more utility to the design, while the automatic mechanism which powers it secures the timepiece against strong magnetic fields. Water resistant to 200 metres. Calibre 9051. Limited to 1,700 unnumbered pieces worldwide.
